Persona 4 Golden Success, SEGA Bringing Atlus Game Again to PC!

Persona 4 Golden, a remaster of the PS Vita handheld game, was released on PC on June 13, 2021. This game has sold more than 500 thousand copies on Steam. Getting a lot of positive responses after launching this game on PC. Pushing SEGA and Atlus to bring more ports, remasters and remakes of their old games to PC.

Actually, both SEGA and Atlus, really did not expect that their game release, RPG Persona 4 Golden, would be a big success on PC. Initially this game was released for the PlayStation Vita, but the handlead game console from Sony has been officially terminated. Therefore, SEGA is bringing this game to Steam.


Through Gematsu, President of SEGA Sammy, Haruki Satomi said that the company was not optimal enough to bring Atlus games to PC. However, seeing the success of the Persona 4 Golden game, there is a huge potential in the PC gaming market.

“Even though we haven’t been actively releasing Atlus titles on PC yet, we felt there was great potential there so we released the Persona 4 Golden port for PC. The response from the user (PC) far exceeds our expectations, ”said Satomi.

“Therefore, we hope to release the word Atlus game on various platforms. Whether it’s as a port or in remastered and remake form, ”he continued

So far, the SEGA company has provided little information about the Atlus game that will be presented to the PC. However, there is news that SEGA plans to release the Atlus game, which is a remaster of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne in 2021-2021, with a PC version being prepared.
