Popular webtoon series "Tower of God" officially adapted into anime
Tower of God is an adaptation of the Korean manhwa on the webtoon. Webtoons are basically digital comic books that are released as a series, not in volume. Tower Of God is a massively successful webtoon, it is one of the few series to get an Anime adaptation. The Manhwa is so popular that its translations feature 28 different languages around the world, garnering around 4.5 billion views so far. Original news leaked in the summer of 2021 that Tower Of God was going to be an anime. And about a year later, the series will premiere in Spring 2021. Synopsis
Tower Of God features the story of a boy named Baam, who lives under a giant tower known as the Tower Of God. Her only friend is Rachel, and the story begins when she finally leaves for the Tower. To save his friend, Baam must venture into a mysterious tower with many challenges. The Tower Of God theme seems to be dealing with aspects of isolation, being an outsider and how far one can go for friendship. When Baam entered the magical and surreal Tower, he realized that it was filled with monsters and other creatures who didn’t like guests. In his search for Rachel, Baam must navigate this alien world, facing multiple challenges on each floor as he climbs higher and higher.
