Rocket League Sets New Records!

Rocket League has set its latest records on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, with more than 550,000 players online simultaneously on all platforms.

Rocket League was first released in July 2015. Since then, the title has gained a moderate level of popularity, although it has never reached the top of other major game rivals such as Fortnite, FIFA, or League of Legends.

Not only Rocket League, as more and more people turn to gaming as the virus crisis continues around the world, titles like CSGO and LoL have hit new online records as well, and now, RL has joined the record-breaking ranks as well.

As of March 25, however, the game has experienced about a 1500% increase from normal. More than 550,000 players were 551,072 to be exact, according to the API statistics website Tracker Network.

Not only breaking recent records, Psyonix has just launched Season 14, and is launching Rocket Pass 6 with the theme of Neo Tokyo.
