Second Season Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Forced to Postpone

Since coronavirus spread throughout the world, more and more industries are affected by the spread of this disease. Starting from tourism trips, many people feel the sting of the corona virus which is not even infected by the disease, and even the anime industry. A new report confirms that Re: Zero getting delayed because of coronavirus, and fans have had a lot of comments related to the decision.

While on Twitter, fans were a little shocked when the announcement was broadcast in Japan via the official website Re: Zero. The audience is informed that the second season of Re: Zero has been postponed from April to July, and that’s due to the impact of coronavirus.

For fans of the new information this is certainly surprising, but many say it is only a matter of time before such a decision is made. Japan is currently one of the countries more infected by this coronavirus with Tokyo become a hotbed for transmission. Even though the ratings weren’t that bad South Korea or maybe Italy, Japan is doing its best to keep infection rates low, and the country has put in place security measures to keep them safe.

Because of this, Japan has asked many people to stay at home, perhaps while canceling school during March. With animators doing work outside the office it should come as no surprise that Re: Zero has been postponed. In the summer, fans hope the anime industry will shell all cylinders as the coronavirus wanes in hotter weather. So with that there was a month to postpone to July.
