Silent Hills Can Haunt Real World Players!

Silent Hills

After the great success of the demo PT, it seems Silent Hills is on track to become one of the greatest horror games ever. Unfortunately, Konami canceled Silent Hills and parted ways with director Hideo Kojima, so that the project had been delayed for 5 years. This time they have new information which suggests that this game will have a very scary ARG (Augmented-Reality Game) mechanism.

Launched by GameRant, this feature allows players to choose special features that will continue to haunt them even when they are not playing the game. This will include things like players receiving text messages, emails and more. Apparently, this feature will even extend to smart lights, causing the lights in their homes to randomly flicker and turn off.

Not only that, there are other unique features that force the PS4 to shut down suddenly at a certain time, and there are many more ARG systems that games want to implement.

Hearing that the project had failed, it was difficult for Alanah Pearce to convince the information he had. In fact, he himself is of the opinion that he is 100% unsure about the project. So there is a big possibility that this ARG feature was only made up by fans who were upset because the favorite game they wanted to play had to be canceled.
