Snapdragon 870 5G chipset officially launching this year!
a few days ago, Qualcomm has officially launched its newest chipset namely Snapdragon 888 in the homeland. Now, they have officially launched a new chipset, namely Snapdragon 870 5G.
Noted that Snapdragon 870 5G it is the successor of Snapdragon 865 plus which is where this chipset brings the speed up to 3.2 GHz, faster around 0.1 GHz from the previous version.
Snapdragon 870 5G This is equipped with a Kryo 585 based on ARM Cortex-A77 with a number of improvements. This chipset still uses a 7nm fabrication which can be said to be quite power efficient.
Meanwhile, the GPU itself is equipped with Andreno 650. However, it is not certain whether there has been a number of improvements or not at all.
Qualcom himself mentioned that this chipset already supports screens with a resolution of 1440p with a refresh rate of 140Hz or 4K with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Then, supported by a camera resolution of 200MP.
Later, well-known smartphone brands such as OPPO, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Motorola, and IQOO will use this chipset for the first time.
