PUBG Developers Want to Maintain the Game for the Long Term

It cannot be denied that currently the battle royale genre game is a game genre that is quite popular in the gaming community. The market for this genre is still very strong, which in the end has resulted in tons of new battle royale game variants. Even recently, Ubisoft released its own battle royal game. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG, which has successfully popularized this game genre, currently still has enough support from developers and also its community base.

In fact, the support for the PUBG game itself is planned to be maintained for a long time. Dave Curd as the director of the PUBG Madison studio revealed that they plan to maintain this game for at least the next 20 years. He and the development team also want to see this game continue to exist in the future while continuing to offer regular updates which of course also bring a fresh experience to this game.

Maybe it’s a bit difficult to talk about how a game can last for two decades. However, seeing the popularity of the battle royale genre which is currently still very strong, the hard work of PUBG developers also seems to be able to realize this dream. But still, support from the community must also be a trick if you want this game to last longer.
