Some Resident Evil 4 Features That We Can Meet In Resident Evil 8: Village
Present as one of the most attention-grabbing games at PS5: The Future of Gaming yesterday, Resident Evil 8: Village is the latest sequel to Resident Evil 7 which brings lots of new changes. Even though the game still comes with gameplay from an FPS point of view, fans of the Resident Evil 4 series can feel the similarities this game has to offer.
Not only from a place setting that is similar to Resident Evil 4, you will also be able to find a typical Resident Evil 4 grid inventory system, but with the style of Resident Evil 7. As shown by AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem via his Twitter account.
And as others have noticed already, the inventory uses a “grid inventory” system ala closer to RE4 but with an RE7-esque style. RE7’s healing juice returns. In addition, you can also see a currency that indicates that the Merchant system will return in this game, where you can buy enough ammunition and equipment to survive. With the return of various familiar systems from Resident Evil 4, it seems there is a possibility that Capcom may also experiment earlier before implementing it in Resident Evil 4 Remake (still an issue).
Resident Evil 8: Village is planned for release in 2021 and is available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC consoles. They will announce detailed information in the coming August.
