Sony Cancels Upcoming PlayStation 5 Event

On Monday Sony announced that they will postpone the streaming show in which they will show several games designed for the next-generation console, the PlayStation 5. This is due to the unrest that is happening in US cities.

Previously the event had been set for June 4, 2021. However, after a recent online presentation by Sony based in Japan, they did not reveal the new date at all.

“Even though we understand gamers around the world are looking forward to seeing the PlayStation 5 game. We feel that now is not the right time to celebrate,” the PlayStation team said in a tweeted message.

Bad timing they mean some of the riots that are happening in the United States. Sony seems to be so worried about the issue, that they have to cancel the event along with other events.

Until now, Sony still has no news about the change of date. In addition, some fans were also angered by the decision.
