The Promised Neverland anime promises an original scenario in season two

The Promised Neverland is promising

There is one problem with the release of the second season of the anime Yakusoku no Neverland or The Promised Neverland. Yes, long before this second season was released, the manga was over. Of course there are already a lot of spoilers from manga readers. This can have an impact on the interest of the anime audience, who probably already know the storyline in the second season.

To solve that, Kaiu Shirai, creator of The Promised Neverland promised an “original scenario” for the anime’s second season. This was revealed in the latest issue of Shonen Jump.

This solution may be able to revive the interest of the second season of Yakusoku no Neverland viewers, including those who have even read the manga. Yup, it sounds like even those who have read manga from start to finish will have some surprises.

You can watch the trailer for Yakusoku no Neverland Season 2 on YouTube.

Here’s the plot or story from The Promised Neverland:

Set in 2045, Emma is an 11-year-old orphan who lives at Grace Field House, a small orphanage that houses her and 37 other children. Her life is very blessed; with delicious food, a comfortable bed, clothes as white as snow, and the love of their “Mama” and nanny named Isabella. The cheerful and jovial Emma always masters daily exams along with her two best friends, Ray and Norman. These orphans are basically allowed to do whatever they want, except to get out of the field complex or the gate that connects the orphanage to the outside world.

One night, an orphan named Conny is sent outside for adoption, but Emma and Norman follow him after realizing that Conny forgot his stuffed bunny toy — which he named Little Bunny — at home. At the gate, they find Conny dead and realize the true truth about their existence at the orphanage. Determined to escape Grace Field House, Norman and Emma team up with Ray to find a way to escape with all the other kids.
