The second season of Yakusoku no Neverland shows off new visual

The official website for the anime The Promised Neverland recently showed off the latest visuals from its second season. The series was supposed to start airing in October 2021 but had to be postponed until January 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This series is an adaptation of the manga Kaiu Shirai. The first season was released in January 2021 with a total of 12 episodes. A live action adaptation of Yakusoku no Neverland will also air in the near future.

For animation problems still entrusted to Studio CloverWorks.

The following is a synopsis of the Yakusoku no Neverland anime itself:

At Grace Field Orphanage, there is no better life for the orphans. Even though they don’t have parents, together with other children and Mama who take care of them, they form a big, happy family. No children are neglected, and they will all be adopted by the age of 12. Their daily life is filled with rigorous tests, but after that, they are allowed to play outside.

There is only one rule they must obey. Don’t leave the orphanage. But one day, two orphans who score the highest, Emma and Norman, walk through the gate and see the terrible secret behind it all. Using their intelligence, the children work together to change their predetermined fate.

The manga itself is now over. It’s quite exciting to read if you can’t wait for the end of the struggle of Enma et al.
