Before Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch had an idea to work on a pirate game
As we already know, PlayStation has just released Ghost of Tsushima as his latest exclusive game. This game by Sucker Punch also received positive responses from gamers around the world. Taking the samurai theme with environmental graphics is the main attraction of this game. But before deciding to work on it Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch apparently has other ideas and one of them is a pirate-themed game.
They conveyed this through the PlayStation Blog when welcoming Ghost of Tsushima released last week. Interestingly, Sucker Punch also shared their mission to create an open world game that involved close combat. Through writing by Sucker Punch co-founder, Brian Fleming, the production team he leads actually has other ideas taken from various cultures. One of them is a game with a pirate theme. They also thought about making a game about Rob Roy (a Scottish villain who became a folk hero) or the Three Muskateer game. But in the end a samurai-themed game was the final choice and was born Ghost of Tsushima.

Although Ghost of Tsushima also very good and extraordinary, Sucker Punch can also realize these ideas to become the next games. Given that Sucker Punch’s previous works were also able to compete to make the players satisfied. So it doesn’t hurt if the next games from Sucker Punch will be pirate themed or games about Three Muskateer.
Ghost of Tsushima itself has been released for PlayStation 4. For those who are curious, you can read our review for Ghost of Tsushima.
