GridGames.ID – Garena as the developer of the Free Fire game announced that Indonesia was chosen to host the 2021 Free Fire Asia Invitational (FFAI) tournament.

This international level tournament will be held at ICE BSD by Sinar Mas Land on 7 September 2021.

FFAI 2021 will bring together 13 teams from Indonesia, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, India, and Singapore / Malaysia, and MENA (Middle East and North Africa).

The 13 teams competed to win a total of USD 50,000 in cash which was equivalent to 713 million rupiah.

The enthusiasm of eSports fans for the Free Fire game in Indonesia is high, so Indonesia is appointed as the host.

Indonesia has also made achievements for several Free Fire tournament championships, including the Free Fire World Cup 2021 and the Free Fire Summer League (FFSL) 2021.

At FFAI 2021, Indonesia itself is represented by RRQ Poseidon, EVOS ROAR and ISLAND OF GODS.

The three teams managed to occupy the top position of the 2021 Free Fire Summer League tournament.

In the first place there is the Island Of Gods team with the acquisition of 2345 points and 50 total kills.

In second place is the Thonburi eSports team with 2245 points and 45 total kills.

In third place is the EVOS Roar team with 1765 points and 46 total kills. EVOS Roar was formerly known as EVOS Capital who won the Free Fire World Cup.
