Kyoto Animation warns visitors not to visit the old studio building

It’s hard to believe, but today is exactly one year since the tragic arson tragedy at Studio 1 Kyoto Animation, and the studio held a commemorative video on its YouTube channel to commemorate it. Apart from commemorating the tragic incident, Kyoto Animation also insisted that people avoid visiting the old studio building which has now been demolished.

The warning streaming program has been carried out, but Kyoani’s warning must still be obeyed. Kyoto Animation’s official website states the following: “Any entry to the Kyoto Animation Study 1 site is prohibited without permission.” They also want fans to refrain from taking selfies, or sowing flowers in the area.

Basically, KyoAni still wants to keep this small and peaceful residential community from being disturbed by frequent visits from fans and spectators. We don’t need to be in sadness, and we should be grateful that KyoAni was able to rise up after this sadistic tragedy.
