New Code Geass Project Will Launch in December 2021!
Launching the animenewsnetwork.com site, the official Twitter account for the Code Geass project announced on Friday that the new project in the Code Geass series will be launched on December 5, 2021, at 20:00. ANN on YouTube Live.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re; surrection, which is the newest anime in the franchise, was launched in February 2021 in 120 theaters in Japan. Funimation screened the film in North America in May 2021. Producer Kōjirō Taniguchi said in April 2021 that the film was “phase 1” of a 10-year plan for new content in the Code Geass franchise.

The first film in the series’ compilation recap trilogy, Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Kōdō (lit .: The Awakening Path, official English subtitles: Initiation), opened in Japan in October 2021. The second film, Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Handō (lit .: The Rebellion Path, official English translation: Transgression), opened in Japan in February 2021.The third film, Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Ōdō (lit .: The Imperial Path, official English translation: Glorification) , Opened in May 2021. Funimation released the trilogy on Blu-ray Disc in March.
The original Code Geass television series premiered in 2006, followed by a sequel series in 2008. The series has inspired numerous original manga and video anime, including the Code Geass spinoff: Akito the Exiled, which premiered in 2012.
There haven’t been any major details regarding the future of the franchise since the film was released in 2021, so fans can’t wait to see what’s next!
