This Chinese Food Deliverer Wore a Death Stranding Costume

A food delivery company in China has tested a costume its courier can wear to carry more goods. The costume that was worn looked like a costume from the game Death Stranding.
Straight out of a video game: China’s ubiquitous food-delivery app https://t.co/O6kOT9RrJG caught the Chinese internet’s attention this week after testing a powered exoskeleton for its couriers. Sixth Tone shares some snippets that can allegedly allow a courier to carry a shipment of up to 50 kg of food without a problem. That’s not as much as can be done by Sam in Death Stranding, but at least the courier could carry the goods comfortably for quite a long time.
This costume was designed by Shanghai-based ULS Robotics, which also does several technological things in the auto manufacturing, industrial logistics, airports and other industries. Even so, the Death Stranding suit was still in the experimental stage.
