Dota 2 Game Matchmaking System Changed Again

Valve has once again rocked the Dota 2 matchmaking game. This time, the update brings a new MMR system that functionally gives players separate MMRs for each of the five roles included in the ranking role.

“Today’s update features a change to the ranking system that replaces each role with a single rank that uses each of the five ranking roles, representing your relative strength in playing each position,” reads the official blog post. “This change will help your account better for the different performance levels of players between the various roles. Winning or losing the game will change your singular rank. “

This change is Valve’s latest innovation. With this system, it allows the players to get a more even team. Given that many players smurf and try new heroes, DotA players are not satisfied in playing ranked mode.

What do you think, is this new matchmaking system really helping players to get a better gaming experience?
