Through Microsoft, PUBG Mobile will be Released to India!

India officially blocked PUBG Mobile and 117 other applications from China, this step was taken due to political tensions between the two countries. Even though in India PUBG Mobile has been downloaded by 185.5 million users or around 24% of all users in the world. It has even contributed 1.2% of PUBG Mobile’s total revenue.
At the time of blocking, PUBG Mobile was an application developed by Tencent originating from China. But actually, this game was developed by Blue Hole Studio, owned by Krafton in South Korea. Therefore, Krafton revoked Tencent’s license as a PUBG Mobile developer for India.
Krafton plans to re-enter PUBG Mobile into India, in collaboration with a global cloud service provider, Microsoft Azure. As is well known, Krafton makes it a top priority for privacy and data security for the protection of personal data. Microsoft, which operates the data center region globally, including India, is the choice for Krafton to cooperate.
According to Krafton, which is the parent company of PUBG Corporation, it has chosen Azure to be the bulk of its personal data protection.
“Azure powers some of the biggest multiplayer games, featuring state-of-the-art security and the most comprehensive set of compliance offerings from any cloud service provider,” the company said. “This collaboration will ensure that privacy rights are respected and relevant software will fully comply with all applicable laws and regulations.”
The game is likely to be launched again in India later this year. The deal with Microsoft Azure marks the first announcement of PUBG Mobile’s comeback in India.
